The Soprintendenza stipulated a specialistic convention with CIBeC to diagnose and evaluate risks of instability in the restoration of the eastern portion of the city walls of Paestum

OBJECTIVES

Definition of the mechanical characteristics of the travertine used in constructing the city walls

• Definition of a diagnosis respecting the indications of the Soprintendenza and the progress of work on excavating and cleaning the walls
• On site tests
• Laboratory tests and activities
• Report analysing the experimental results acquired
