POMPEII – INSULA OCCIDENTALIS

The Grotta di San Biagio is a place of worship established in fifth-sixth century A.D. in Castellammare di Stabia nearby Villa Arianna. The C.I.Be.C. is supporting the Archaeological Park of Pompeii in consolidation and restoring activities as well as in scientific investigations and monitoring surveys. The latter are focused on the geotechnical stability of the Varano hill and on the statics of the cave vault.

The project aims to permit the visitor access to the cave.
