10th National Conference on the History of Engineering – 6th International Conference

The “10th National Conference on the History of Engineering – 6th International Conference,” held on June 13-14, 2024, at the historic Engineering campus in Piazzale Tecchio, Naples, was a significant opportunity for scholars and professionals worldwide to exchange ideas. Organized by the Italian Association of History of Engineering (AISI), this event has consistently promoted research and the dissemination of engineering history, highlighting its vital role in modern society.

Grotta di San Biagio: partnership between C.I.Be.C. and the Archaeologic Park of Pompeii

The consolidation and restoration of the Grotta di San Biagio, a place of worship dating back to the V-VI century A.D. located at the base of the hill of Varano in Castellammare di Stabia nearby Villa Arianna, is among the interventions that the Archaeological Park of Pompeii is carrying out with the collaboration of the Interdepartmental Center of Cultural Heritage (CIBeC) of the University of Naples Federico II.

Scientific agreement between CIBeC and the Archaeological Park of Ercolano

The research activities of the C.I.Be.C. receive a new impulse from the stipulation of a technical-scientific agreement with the Archaeological Park of Ercolano, under the scientific coordination of Prof. Salvatore Sessa, as part of the collaboration activities already in place with the Federico II University.

1st specialization course in Monuments and Earthquakes

(Interdepartmental Engineering Center for Cultural Heritage) of the University of Naples Federico II, has organized a round table on the theme “Archaeology, Territory, Tourism, Relationships between Technicians and Institutions: the Cilento Case” for 15 October 2022 .
