The first edition of the specialization course in Monuments and Earthquakes has ended successfully. The final activities included a visit, organized by the director of the C.I.Be.C. Prof. Luciano Rosati, at the excavation sites of the Ancient Theater of Naples, an amazing example of a Roman structure dating back to the 1st century BC.
The research activities of the C.I.Be.C. receive a new impulse from the stipulation of a technical-scientific agreement with the Archaeological Park of Ercolano, under the scientific coordination of Prof. Salvatore Sessa, as part of the collaboration activities already in place with the Federico II University.
The C.I.Be.C.’s courses are enriched with a new specialization course in Monuments and Earthquakes, open to professionals in the cultural heritage sector interested in exploring aspects related to seismic vulnerability and the protection of historical structures.
AISI, in collaboration with the Italian Philhellennic Society and C.I.Be.C. (Interdepartmental Engineering Center for Cultural Heritage) of the University of Naples Federico II, has organized a round table on the theme “Archaeology, Territory, Tourism, Relationships between Technicians and Institutions: the Cilento Case” for 15 October 2022 .
